`` Uncle Jimmy was an employee of Canadian Pacific Steamships, and regularly crewed aboard the Princess boats (Elizabeth, Lathleen, Margaurete) on the triangle run (Vancouver - Victoria - Seattle ) during the 30s. He had been a merchant seaman for many years prior to his employment with CP ships.
When the war started in 1939, Jimmy was an Engine Room Articifer, and when the navy came calling, his trade was in high emand, so he enlisted. He passed on in the 80`s`` - Harvey J. Bowcott
