In a letter to the Project from Victor Prodnuk:

I still have vivid memories of most happenings, some scary, some actually funny.  Such as a time sailing the Med we came across the results of a cargo ship that had been sunk.   We were sailing through a sea of oranges.  A sea of orange floating with the waves was really hilarious.  Naturally we tossed a bucket over the side to capture some of these wayward delicacies.
